Our Recycled Market Totes are truly inspired by the Bayóng bag in the Philippines. They are traditionally made by weaving together dried leaves in the provinces and used mainly as a shopping bag for fresh produce at wet markets as they are known to be durable compared to using single-use disposable plastics.

Today, skilled Filipino craftsmen directed their abilities to produce distinctive tote bags from recycled plastics using the same handweaving techniques but aesthetically more pleasing to the eyes. From toned down neutrals to bright candy-colored hues we got something for everyone. Cheers to giving used plastics a second chance!
